Recover your corrupt or inaccessible Exchange database (EDB) file by following these steps:

  1. Launch the Recoveryfix for Exchange Server software, and then either from File menu or menu bar underneath select Add Source option.
  2. Select Offline EDB File option to add exchange database file to it.
  3. Choose from the Standard Scan or Deep Scan on the basis of corruption intensity and your requirement.
  4. Preview retrieved EDB file content, make your selections, right-click on the selected folder, select the option Export Message(s).
  5. Select the destination to save the restored mailbox content. To save the recovered items as PST choose either Create New PST File or Existing PST File.
  6. Apply the required filters, select options like providing a PST path and click Save. The export is successful.

Well, if you have multiple large mailbox, you can save it as PST files. If the size of PST is quite large, while exporting the mailbox, you can use the ‘Split PST file’ option to save the mailbox data to multiple PST files.

Apart from the EDB file, you can have Live Exchange, Outlook profile, and Office 365 as the source to repair the mailbox data.

Yes, you can easily recover your inaccessible EDB file data and save it on Exchange Server 2019. You can migrate your EDB file data by choosing Live Exchange as destination and entering your Exchange Server 2019 credentials of the administrator account or with an account having administrative rights.

If you are migrating a single mailbox, then only the login credentials of the mailbox are needed. If you are migrating multiple mailboxes, then you should have Global Administrator Login credentials.
